Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is a popular Indian film actress and model who primarily works in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She was born on April 28, 1987, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Samantha made her acting debut in the Telugu film “Ye Maaya Chesave” in 2010, which was directed by Gautham Menon. She received critical acclaim and several awards for her performance in the film, which also marked her debut as a lead actress. Samantha has since acted in numerous Telugu and Tamil films, including “Dookudu,” “Eega,” “Theri,” “Rangasthalam,” “Mersal,” and “Super Deluxe,” among others.

She has won several awards for her performances in films, including four Filmfare Awards – two each in Telugu and Tamil. In addition to her acting career, Samantha is also a prominent philanthropist and is associated with various charitable organizations.

Samantha is married to Naga Chaitanya, another popular Telugu film actor, whom she met on the sets of the film “Ye Maaya Chesave.” They got married in 2017 in a grand ceremony in Goa, India.

Before pursuing a career in acting, Samantha worked as a model and did several advertisements for popular brands. She also worked as an assistant director on the sets of the 2010 Tamil film “Eesan.”
